In Memory of Jennifer DaDalt

Jennifer Lee DaDalt was our Scholarship winner for 2006. She was living on Galotto Street in Stafford Springs when she passed away unexpectedly due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Wednesday, December 31, 2008.

Obituary

Born in Springfield, MA, Jennifer was the daughter of Anthony J. DaDalt and the late Violet "Dee" (Montagna) DaDalt. She is survived by her father, Anthony J. DaDalt of Stafford Springs; her brother, John Sullivan and his wife Georgette of Springfield, MA; her paternal grandmother, Joyce (Butler) DaDalt of Stafford Springs; the love of her life and best friend, Michael Leary as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Jennifer has been described as "bright and articulate" and "a joy to all around her". Krisa Juliano, a classmate at ECSU spoke of her memories of Jen in her online tribute, "[S]he always made the apartment feel like home. If there was one thing I learned from Jen it's the importance of helping others. Whenever I was feeling down, Jen was always there to listen and take my mind off of hard times. Jen always went out of her way to care for the people she loved. I feel her warm smile and loving presence will forever remain in our hearts." Another college friend, Heather Phinney, shared similar thoughts of Jen, "I am going to miss your happiness and your words of wisdom. You always made me smile in my toughest times, and I could always count on you to be on my side."

Family friends, Jo-Jo & Pauline recalled Jennifer as "a remarkable, responsible, sensible, loving, thoughtful young lady that made an impression on everyone's heart!" and Karen T. wrote, "Jen had a quick & instant smile that would immediately make any room brighter."

Jennifer was further described as "passionate about spending time with her boyfriend Michael, her family, her classes in Elementary Education at Eastern Connecticut State University, her job at the Stafford Food Center, her teaching, being at the beach, and showering her family with gifts during the holidays. Jennifer lived life to the fullest, filling every minute of every day. She loved being active at all times. She truly will be missed."

Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT handled the funeral service for Jennifer. There was a d by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Edward Church, High St., Stafford Springs will burial at the St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs.
